UCR's Botanical Gardens Shoot

First, I want to Thank Allison and Jessy for coming by and letting all these crazy photographers shoot away. You're both beautiful and patient.

What a turn out. I hope each of you got something out of our two and a half hours together. Went by quick. I would like everyone to share some of their photos along with comments, what you learned and what you would have done differently. To become a better photographer you must shoot, look and learn from your mistakes. Most importantly, be open for comments and suggestions, good or bad. You have to be thick skinned to be a photographer. Getting someone else's perspective is very important. Trying different things and see what works and what doesn't.

Please post your photos. I will send out invitations to everyone so you can post directly on our blog. I want you to at least try to post before emailing me and asking how to do it. This is what this class is about, trying new things. Well, here are a couple of mine. I hope to see others posting soon.

Thank you for setting up the shoot. I enjoyed the opportunity to shoot live subjects in a beautiful setting, and appreciate their patience with us. But I especially enjoyed taking photos of the flowers and the turtles. I hope to bring my family back to shoot more photos.

Maureen, I'm glad you enjoyed the shoot. Allison and Jessy were very patient with all of us. When you go back don't forget to go to the back of the gardens which is up in the hills. There are some areas which are tropical in nature.

Now I just need to figure out how to post some photos on the blog. If I can't get it, I may need help.

When I go through the emailed invitation to post, there is an error. How can I post photos directly from the blog?
